Among the heaps of impressive works on exhibit, take note of the pieces by US-based painter Audrey Kawasaki. Audrey’s distinctive works characteristically consist of erotically-charged adolescent women. Her medium of choice, oil painting applied directly to wood panels, is a unique blend of Art Nouveau and Japanese manga.

Both her subject matter and technique demonstrate her interest in contradiction and fusion, evident in the combination of innocence and eroticism portrayed in her subjects. We have no doubt you will be captivated by these beautiful yet disturbing adolescent women whose penetrating gaze will beckon you to look closer.

Today is your last day to see Audrey’s works in person at the “Art & Toys” exhibition!
