Isabelle Wenzel (1982, Wuppertal) lives and works in Amsterdam. She studied photography from 2008-2010 at the Gerrit Rietveld Akademy in Amsterdam. Her work has been widely exhibited in national solo and group shows. She confront the visitor with partly surreal and partly dynamic studies of the human body in cropped sections of performance created for the camera. She received several grants for her work, such as the European Photo Exhibition Awards, amongst others.
