“My work addresses the notions of fragility, femininity, of man’s relationship to nature and what is mirrored of him through her. I am primarily interested in what happens within us, things that cannot be put into words but might be brushed upon through senses and intuitions.

For a while I explored dark paintings with for only light the brilliant specks of gold scattered through the picture. In my recent work I strive to transcribe the same sense of depth and silence through light and airiness.”
