Giampaolo Sgura, born in 1975, is originally from Apulia, Italy. After studying architecture in Milan, where he now lives permanently, Giampaolo changed paths to begin a career in photography, after producing a reportage for Glamour Italy. In love with classic elegance and true beauty, his mentors are Richard Avedon and Irving Penn. His photographs are seductive and delicate, as seen in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, La Perla and Ermenegildo Zegna. He contributes regularly to Vogue Paris and GQ.
