Graduating in 2006 from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Art, Istanbul, Can Dağarslanı became increasingly more interested in photography while studying architecture. It all began in 2003 when Dagarslani started working on landscape shoots of different places that would bring out each city’s architectural plan. His work deals with shapes, femininity, man-woman relationships, beauty, akwardness. He enjoys natural light and colors and mostly plays with scenes and the models’ posture. Also works on comission for various projects.

 ‘My photo series revolves around intimate captures that are shot in such a way as to make the viewer feel not so intrusive. The subject remains mostly anonymous, allowing people to imagine their own significant others in her place or someone they wish to be their significant other. Poetic and poignant, the subject offers herself entirely.’
