Attention, Artists!

ROLL UP, ROLL UP! The group, Natulis Art Temporary is offering nine artists (both emerging and established) a FREE studio for three weeks during August. Those lucky enough to be selected will be given an old GDR style garage in its last lease of life and because the building will no longer be once the summer is over, artists are encouraged to seriously make their mark, letting their creative juices run wild.

On August 30th, the garages will throw open their doors to the general public as well as a crowd of arts critics and curators, so that all may witness the transformation which has taken place. If the promise of a free studio was not enough to wet your taste buds, during this final weekend, a jury of Thomas Eller, James Guerin, Jan Kage and Anna Jill Lupertz will award the best studio presentation with a prize of 1000EUR. The day will conclude with a knees-up in the name of art, including food, bands, beers, DJs and performances.

For those of you who are keen to apply; there’s no time to waste with the deadline looming close. Send a PDF with CV, a portfolio of 7 artworks max and a proposal for the space by July 20th to info@natberlin.com, bearing in mind that “Ephemeral, time sensitive art at tremendous growth rates will be favoured”.

We wish you all the best of luck!

  • The project will take place from 8th– 30th August 2012 at Berlin’s Scharnhorststraße 32. Get more information here.
