Katerholzig Live performance by Dead Skeletons 9pm-12am 

 Dive head first into the bizarre world of Dead Skeletons! This audio-visual trio from Iceland gets set to tear up the stage at one of the best venues in Berlin, Katerholzig! So get ready because the doors open at 9pm. And believe me, you do not want to miss this underground sensation’s performance.

Deutsches Historisches Museum Zeughauskino: Doku.Arts “Process and Memory

 Expand your intellectual horizons! The unique film series with a presentation of 30 new documentaries from around the world with a special focus on Brazilian films on art in collaboration with the Instituto Moreira Salles in Rio de Janeiro.

Museum Lichtenberg in the Town House Transporter project: “Waste and Habits” 7pm

UK Artists Samantha Taylor and Suzanne Hutton present an exhibition at Museum Lichtenberg dealing with the re-use of everyday materials emphasizing the potential harmony between the natural and man-made worlds. Get ready for large scale installations and dramatic, architectural sculpture using industrial materials.

Kaleidoskop Exhibition: “More efficient means for going backwards” 7pm

 Immerse yourself in a massive video installation at Kaleidoskop by Edel O’ Reilly and Paul Harrington. The exhibit deals with the relationship between technology and humanity and will be streamed live to Ireland and iceland opening night!

Forelle Documentalelle “Special X” Opening 7pm

We have heard some pretty out there stuff here at BAPS…but fictional artists? The global group exhibition of “fictional” international artists, documentale, comes to Berlin with a joint exhibition with the artist group Special X at Forelle this Friday!

Gärtnerhof Velten Kunstlicht Festival 7pm-10pm

Fourteen artists present their work in the lush, botanical setting of Gärtnerhof Velten. Ranging anywhere from sculpture to photography, do not miss this dynamic exhibition starting at 7pm!

West Germany The Maze Festival 9pm(month-long event)

KWADRAT Daniel Kannenberg “Da Stijl” 5pm-10pm

German artist Daniel Kannenberg combines colorful collage techniques with cultural references in his artwork. Check out his new show at KWADRAT opening this Saturday at 5pm!

Ori Bar “5 Jahre Ori” 8pm-Open End(event runs all weekend)

Come celebrate bar/art space Ori’s fifth year anniversary with an exhibit by the Ori artists: Coka, Franziska Puhlmann, Friederike Vogel, Janina Schütz, Lisa Hain, Luise Steukart, m i r u, and Oliver Parzer. There will be photography, installations, and of course–good music and strong drinks!

Urban Spree “DON’T SLEEP=PARTY!!!” 8pm-3am

You know you can always count on art space/bar Urban Spree for a good time! This Saturday you are invited to a wild party celebrating the finissage of street artist klones solo show “NEW LAND” with drinks, dancing, and of course, good music! So tell your flatmates not to wait up, because this party is going all night!
