The Month of Performance Art is upon us and we have been enjoying the variety of exciting art performances so far. After reviewing the exhibition “Packet-Soup” at SAVVY Contemporary, the Artparasites are excited about this environmental type of art and are now looking forward to seeing it in performance.

Today, Chinese artists Yingmei Duan and Cai Qing will be performing on the topic of sustainability and after their performances there will be an artist talk. The project “Packet-Soup” concerns its self with the plastic pollution of the world’s oceans and we expect the performances to be just as poignant as the exhibition, which is a real eye-opener…another good reason to get down to SAVVY this evening!
