Solace for Paris, for Beirut, for Syria… for us all

Everything will be OK when I finish this poem

This poem will resolve all my problems
And when you read it you will forgive me
And your problems will fade away too

Because of this poem every retrograde politician will change his mind
The climate will seize to change
The polar bear will have its home again

Senseless wars – all of them – will end
Torture will end
Fundamentalism will be a myth
We’ll have true equality
Hunger will die

People will be whole

Because of this poem
