Put It All In The Bank

The artparasites have come across quite a tasty internship offer for our readers! While you may not, at first thought, associate a bank with art and culture initiatives, Commerzbank is here to surprise you. They are currently looking for an intern to work with them for at least two months, although a longer internship is also appreciated. No prior work experience or training is necessary. Students in the fields of Economics, Communications, Cultural Studies, and Art History are particularly encouraged to apply… and if you’ve had practical experience in the culture sector, even better!

Working as part of the Corporate Citizenship department, the intern would be contributing to Commerzbank’s education projects particularly focused on arts and culture. This is where it gets very “arty”: Aside from assisting the Corporate Citizenship department with communication tasks, the intern get hands-on experience in art collecting by assisting the curator of the art collection in various tasks.

English skills are a plus, and fluency in German is a must! Sounds like you could be a good fit? Call Heike Heuberger at 069-136-50986. The internship is located at their headquarters in Frankfurt am Main – so the lucky artparasite that is selected will surely be missed, but always welcomed back to Berlin! And do note: it does pay a whooping €800.
