Pre-game the demonstrations and outdoor festivities of May 1st with some interactive art and electronic music at Stattbad Wedding. Known for its audio-visual artistic experiments and steamy boiler room dance parties, Stattbad Wedding – a former Prussian bathhouse – never disappoints. Expect virtual and digital art with sound and light projections that change frequency or motion depending on the visitor’s movements. One installation even screens live twitter updates morphed into sounds and images via #tweetscapes. In addition to these artworks, the large pool will be turned into a jam session courtesy of independent Berliner record labels Mobilee and Highgrade with the dance party continuing into the boiler room.

Skip the molotov cocktails and set the night alight with some art and electronic music instead. We promise you won’t be disapointed. Arrive early to make sure you get in, or pre-order tickets here. Also, event organizers warn that in case the Wedding S/U Bahn Stations are closed due to demonstrations, get off at Humboldthain instead.
