LAST CHANCE: Armin Boehm At Meyer Riegger

Gallery Weekend in Berlin was a craze of exhibition openings which included Armin Boehm’s earthy exhibition WALD HOCHWALD HOLZFÄLLEN at Meyer Riegger. However it has now reached the end of the exhibition and it’s time to say goodbye!

Closing on Saturday 26th May, WALD HOCHWALD HOLZFALLEN features deep earthy coloured paintings of people and their relationship with, and power over, nature. The deep texture of the paintings is achieved with “a combination of paint, gravel, wood, and other organic materials stemming from the earth” and is used to create the contrasting feelings of safety and unease in the different settings portrayed.

The Artparasite fans voted on our Gallery Weekend poll for Julie Anne to attend the opening at Meyer Riegger, where, armed with her video camera, she captured the atmosphere and feel of the paintings! If you aren’t convinced that this is worth your while then check out what others have to say about it in the video of the Gallery Invasion at Meyer Riegger!
