Kaethe Butcher
Kaethe Butcher is a young German artist living in Berlin, who illustrates lovely women in very erotic and provocative ways. She started drawing by happenstance, watching Sailor Moon, and turned it into a lucrative hobby. Her artistic inspirations are Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, as well as Art Nouveau, which give her seductive drawings a touch of romance.
I want people to make their own stories with my illustrations – to think about the text and to identify with the whole thing. And then I love to hear from people their stories and why exactly this work is so important to them. It’s one of the most beautiful things.
