This Sunday, August 26th, the Berlin-based moving image arts collective nowMoment has prepared a magical afternoon:  Their annual “Art Eats Brunch.” The theme of today’s edition is  “High Tea” and it will take place at S&yM Space at Mainzerstraße (Neukölln), so get out your tea sets, put on your best Sunday dress and head out into the Berlin wonderland. A day of “culinary and cultural delights” prepared by Foodgasm Berlin is promised – with some delicious homemade lavender honey scones and corn fritters on the menu!

And they have a very special Mad-hatter involved in the festivities: The party will be hosted by the drag Mysti. It starts at midday and goes until 8 in the evening. Will you find yourself into the endless 6 o’clock tea time loop of the Mad Hatter and the March Hare? Have a look at their menu:

We all love Sunday brunch, but this what makes this event particularly enchanting is the artwork! Alongside steaming kettles and porcelain, you will have the opportunity to see the larger than life photo prints of Alexa Vachon, showing behind the scenes moments of other projects from nowMoment. The musical performances will be in the hands of Black Cracker, Justin Cusack, Chris Williams, Olof Dreijer (DJ Coolof), Lavender Wolf and more! You couldn’t ask for a better way to start your week!
