Isn’t It Ironic?

Sculptor Matthias Verginer really captures the very essence of our human existence; we are all just fat naked people trying to jump over large animals. This is life: some big hairy obstacle in our way as we try to pommel vault ourselves up and over to see what's on the other side, and hopefully better our existence all while having the world look at us and judge.

Sometime our problems are not so big,

and we find a way to wrangle them

or perhaps we just decide to make peace with the fact we may just be too fat to get over the obstacle and make friends with it instead.

Whatever your problem, Verginer knows the irony is always there. "I think things cannot be ironic but the situation they are involved in is ironic. Every situation is different, interesting and unique and therefore beautiful and not comparable to other."

And in the words of Alanis: "Isn't it ironic…don't you think, a little too ironic…and, yeah, I really do think…"
