Andrew Ohlmann creates short animated loops using hand-illustrated sketch-frames to convey motion and mesmerizing effects. To render his animated .gif images Andrew sometimes uses filters, software functions and programs to partially generate the visual patterns, mirrored drawings and degenerated lines in his work. His style is bold, expressive like caricatures and royal lampoons. He sketches absurd drawings, paints comics with gouaches, picture Sick Sad World meets a cartoon columnist.
