A Breath of Fresh Air in Berlin

There is a lot of undiscovered talent hiding in Berlin’s art scene; skilled artists who are not yet represented by a gallery. The parasite team are going to buzz around the city searching for these “Great Artists without Gallery” for our new video-interview series.

Tucked away in Koepenick in the old quirky broadcasting house packed with history and art, we discovered Susanne Möhring, a talented young artist living and working in Berlin!

Susanne was born just outside the city in Rüdersdorf bei Berlin and after studying in Greifswald at the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Institut she has been drawn back to the city which she loves and draws much inspiration from. I was lucky to meet the spirited and talented Susanne at her studio, which is full of character and surrounded by the nature that influences her artwork. In contrast to the old GDR building she works in, Susanne’s art is far from old!

Look out for Susanne wandering the streets of Berlin – maybe with a bratwurst, or at one of her favourite bars the Primitiv.
